LVL 40 but newb.. looking to add friends for raiding

Hi everyone. I played through the main campaign as thought the game were single player. I really want to expand the enjoyment for the game by joining a group, but I have no experience, knowledge or etiquette for being in group. Was hoping maybe someone could show me the ropes?
