Full Hive Pantheon (THEORY)
As you may have known. The Hive is mentioned to have a Pantheon of gods. Crota and Oryx being the only currently known ones.
But remember the Swarm Princes? They each had specific names and titles:
Banuk, Ur Prince
Dakoor, Yul Prince
Garok, Xol Prince
Merok, Eir Prince
I have theorized that Ur, Yul, Xol, and Eir are gods in the Hive Pantheon. Similar to Greek mythology, Oryx is Zeus, and Crota may or may not be a god. He can also be a demigod not unlike Hercules was son of Zeus.
As a side theory, Garok, with the title of Xol Prince, is fought in the same chamber where your Ghost hacks the door in The Summoning Pits. In said strike, you fight Mormu, Xol spawn. So does that mean Mormu and Garok are somehow related to each other. Are they siblings, if the Hive have something like that at all?

1 ReplyGreat theory I hadn't wondered about the hive gods, I just killed them... Or I thought I did, if crota isn't a god then y would eris say in the dark below trailer "I have seen what the hive call a god"
