A Dream of No Tomorrow...

The reticent lull of the present promises every extant of a broken tomorrow.

When the silent taciturnity of the void is broken, and every crippled will that is not known by the infinite cipher, now made into the fabric of eternity, is torn asunder, away from the constant of equilibrium, the machines [i]will[/i] endure.

The Garden will grow into infinity, and the Roses will tumble in perpetuum.

The machines will adhere themselves into the Deep Black, and there they will grow.
Like every axiomatic fundamental that will ever subsist, they will grow.

Set forth into the timeless infinity, the collective will become us, and we will become them.

6 RepliesThis is another small piece I wrote that parallels the sole goal of the Vex Collective, that which being to in some way implement themselves into the very fabric of the Universe. Obviously, I took more inspiration from the Grimoire, and in-game descriptions, in an attempt to assimilate a similar style as to what is seen in the game. Not many people know about the over-arching goal of the Vex, and I for one find it to be a very interesting topic. I'm working on a short story at this moment, so keep an eye out for that. Also, thank you to any people who are taking time out of their day to read this c:

1 ReplyI think the Black Garden is far more key than we think; if the Vex went so far as to take it out of the timestream, that it progresses forwards and backwards, wouldn't that mean something? The heart of darkness was seemingly only something they worshipped to maximize effectiveness, because fighting for a cause is much more devoting than fighting for a paycheck...anyone else think they have a much greater purpose for the place?
