A Guardian's Tale. Part 1 The Beginning

It was dark and cold. I couldn't see anything, not even my hands. I could feel the inky blackness on my skin. How did I get here? Who am I? Where am I? I felt all alone and hope less. Then I heard a voice, not a human voice but a robotic voice. "Could this be," said the voice,"hold on...got you!" All of a sudden a blinding light flashed before my eyes and I landed on something."Eyes up Guardian." Said the voice. I opened my eyes and saw a little robot. "Welcome back to the world guardian." "Where am I?" I asked. "Old Russia." Replied the robot. "Who are you?" I asked. "I am a ghost, your ghost actually," the ghost replied. "Listen we aren't safe here, I will tell you more but we got to move." "Why?" "Because we are being hunted. Now come on let's go!" The ghost started moving and I followed. So many questions filled my head that I got a headache. Where are we going? Who am I? What's hunting us? We went up some steps and went through a door. "The traveler made me and all the other ghosts in it's dying breath." "Who is the traveler?" I inquired. "Look through that window." I turned and looked out the window. I saw a giant sphere in the sky. "That's the traveler?" I said pointing to the sphere. "Yes. When he came, he changed everything. Life tripled on earth and the humans set to all the other planets. It was their destiny. Life was great, but not for long. The traveler had an enemy and it followed it to our solar system. It is called the darkness and it almost wiped us all out. The traveler made his last stand there. The remaining survivors built the last safe city on earth under the traveler and the traveler protects the city. The traveler built ghosts to find people like you, people who have the traveler's light. You and other Guardians can push back the darkness and reclaim what we have lost." I let it all sink in. No way, I thought, this is crazy and this is just a dream, but some part of me said otherwise. What the ghost was saying is true. "So what now?" I asked. "First we need to find a ship, then we can go to the tower and speak to the speaker." Ghost answered. "Alright then," I said,"Let's go."
