A Guardian's Tale Part 2: Escape

"How much further?" I asked. "Not much" Ghost replied. I sprinted down a hallway and went through a door into a pitch black area. "Hold on. I'll get the lights." Whispered Ghost. Five seconds later the lights came on. RIEEEII! An ear piercing scream ripped through the air. I jumped. "Uh oh. The Fallen are on to us! Run." I dashed through a hole in the wall that lead to another room. "Quick, grab that gun!" I grabbed it and loaded it. "Sweet." I whispered. "Keep moving!" I took a few steps forward then, CRASH!! Right in front of me a dreg jumped up through the floor panel. I shot it's head off. It's soul screaming as it left the dreg. More fallen came in and shouted in anger. They charged but I quickly riddled them all with bullets. We moved forward. In the next area there was a ship. "There's our ship!" Ghost yelled. The only problem was, there was a bunch of fallen surrounding the ship. I shot a few then I ran out of bullets. "Dang it!" I mumbled. "Concentrate." "What?" "Relax and channel your energy." "Okay." I closed my eyes and relaxed. I felt the energy surge through me and go into my hand. A big ball of purple light appeared in my right hand. "Shoot that ball at the fallen." I jumped in the air and launched the ball at them. All of the fallen disintegrated. "Whoa!" I shouted, "that was cool!" "Yeah! You are a warlock. A Void Walker Warlock." My mind was blown. I looked at my hand in amazment. "Look out behind you!" Yelled Ghost. I turned and thrust my hand out to the oncoming enemy. Purple energy surged through my hand and the Vandel crumpled to the ground. "Yep, definitely a VoidWalker. Now about that ship..."
