Changing our name?
I'm thinking about changing the group name, along with the group title to The Lore Keepers, instead of the seekers.
Now, before I get super rash and just make a change, I want to make sure the community is okay with it, I'm not going to change something solely because I think it sounds cool. Bit of a rebrand, but ultimately, I will use this thread as the platform for a Yes to change the name or a No don't change the name.

I like seekers but I dont mind either way. I like seekers, reason being, we seek questions and answers to those questions. With keepers, I kind of feel like its an absolute. Like everything is already there and we are protecting it. Just my 2 cents but I'm cool with either one :)

We though we are the ones who forge through the dark to uncover the secrets of our past so that we may build our world on the knowledge of those that came before. I'd like to think that Seekers is more active, offensive minded whereas Keepers is defensive in nature. Stick with Seeker.

1 ReplyThe Lore Keepers would imply that we've turned every stone and have knowledge on all the hidden mysteries, secrets, and wonders Destiny has to offer, whereas The Lore Seekers suggests that there is still missing pieces of its history yet to be discovered. Also adds to the exploration and learning motifs of this group's purpose which supports the motto as well. I personally think it shouldn't be changed, as cool as The Lore Keepers sound…

Honestly wally I think it's your call both sound decent but I think seekers is more applicable as keepers seems a bit self absorbed and that's not us, there will always be lore pushing our guardians back out into the darkness after it it's who we are.
