If you can look at the older preorder bonus posters for the game , you can see the traveller in direct comparison to the earth http://fav.me/d6b2gfm It's hard to gauge the exact scale of the earth in the poster , but by looking at the curve of the Earth , you can find a rough circumference of the earth in the photo . finding the circumference of the earth in the photo and scaling it against the actual circumference of the earth gives a fairly accurate estimate to the size of the traveller . I feel that this is easier than measuring it compared to skyscrapers of unknown height and distance to the traveller .

  • Thanks. Sadly that is not official Bungie art, as far as I know. They did have some early images/posters depicting the traveler as being the same size as our moon, however, just going by the speed at which the clouds move behind it and above the city, the traveler is either only several kilometers tall, or the earth has some serious wind issues :)
