My stupid Glitch problems

I don't know why but I cant get my Titan up to the spot where you despawn the enemies at the swordbearer section in the Crota's End raid no matter what I do. And I even have increased height equipped and it still won't do it. This resulted in me getting cursed at by one of my fireteam members when he "showed" me how to do it with his Titan! I got so livid with his "comments" and the fact I couldn't do this I just turned off my system right then and there!! What am I doing wrong!?!? THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!! Not to mention that all the videos I've found on how to do this are never seen from a Titans 1st person view!!! IF, anyone knows of one such video or some honest to goodness helpful advise please link it or share it, otherwise don't bother.
