Character Classes
First I need knowledgeable folk to give me a rundown of the available classes, and also which ones people were most likely going to go for.

Every class is DPS according to Bungie, and every class can pretty much do every thing. Your choice in class is more of an emotional choice in how you want your character to solve their problems. For example, if you wanted to make a build that specialized in AoE damage and crowd control, a Warlock might do it using fireballs, a Titan would create a shockwave with his fists, and maybe the Hunter would lay a trap. We don't have more specific details than that, but the Warrior / Wizard / Rogue Archetypes are very fleshed out in other games, so pick what you've enjoyed playing in the past and go for it :)

21 RepliesNo class really outstrips another, but they generally work like: Titan - paladin/tank class, heavy armor. Warlock - mage/support class, heavy magic damage. Hunter - fighter/damage class, heavy weapon damage. However they have been designed to not fit perfectly into the standard class archetypes, so that's just at a glance. If you want more info than that, follow the link. Also: Titan It does look like you will have more slots for different characters and classes in-game, so you won't be restricted to just one.
