Class Type

Hello I have been thinking a lot about playing styles and class types a lot lately. I have 3 hunters but I mean it's the same old same old every time I log in. Is it really worth it to delete 2 characters and make a Titan and Warlock? Too late this has already been done thanks tho!

  • There's quite a bit of variety when you have a class of each, it keeps the game from getting stale. It is weird jumping around classes though, there's definitely a different mindset that comes with each. My biggest problem is forgetting I don't have throwing knives in pvp :p

  • I got three different characters. It is very obvious how you would prefer different characters for different activities, some of them being more universal, some less. It is also better to have three different classes, because you will be acquiring armor which doesn't fit your class - having three different types guarantees it will be used eventually.

  • I would a delete a character and create a different one only if I've accumulated enough legendary and exotic armor to level up. I currently have a Warlock, Titan, and Hunter. As you probably already know, each character is unique. The Warlock and Titan are great to use in VOG & Crota raids. The Hunter is great for Crota and Crucible. The jumping abilities vary per character; The Warlock tends to be a bit flighty, up in the air. The titan has a nice jump; It takes a bit of practice to get use to jumping with a Hunter. Best of luck.

    • Hey Skyfall I would suggest making one of each....it makes the game a lot more interesting - I still really like my first char the titan for the shoulder charge and in your face ways...I then made a second titan on the advice that it would be quicker to lvl her up.....I then made a third char my hunter and I did enjoy playing the hunter and got her to lvl 32 but you need a ton of sapphire wire!! So beware lol ....I got my 2nd titan to lvl 31 and got a bit bored with playing two titans doing the same moves, so decided to make a warlock and now wished I'd made 3 different ones in the first place.....so I would agree that it would be best to delete one char at a time but I'm sure you'll enjoy playing the titan and warlock as it will give you a different style of play and makes the game more interesting....hope that helps :-)

    • Yeah I think you should. I had three titans forever and the game was starting to get a little stale and I was running out of stuff to do. I deleted two titans and made a warlock and hunter at the same time which I think was a mistake. It would have been easier to just delete one at a time so I could still do the raid/nightfall at least twice a week. I'm really liking the hunter. Its a way different experience than the titan. I had built up plenty of extra materials/shards (foolishly deleted all non titan armor) so its making leveling up really easy.

    • I went with all three with no regrets! For example, each has their purpose each is fantastic in its own way. I love the Hunter but my Titan is the business for crota hard, my warlock is the best for VoG and my hunter I can do both with no problems.

    • Well you need to ask yourself "do I need 3 hunters?" In my opinion no. If you were going to make other characters I would just get rid of one first and start off slow. See if you like playing as another character first before deleting two.
