Destiny Slang!

Hey its me again! The new topic I'm going to introduce today is... slang! Slang is "a type of language that consists of words and phrases that are regarded as very informal, are more common in speech than writing, and are typically restricted to a particular context or group of people" What I already know: Nf: Nightfall Gt:Gamer tag Psn:PlayStation There are ALOT more! Talk about how you think these words came to and how maybe we could use better code words 😋. Remember, this is for all the n00bs(new or not) that just got this app, so lets make a better, less ignorant future for Destiny 😆

CE = Crotas End raid VoG = Vault of Glass raid HM = Hard Mode for raid VM = Vex Mythoclast (Exotic Primary Fusion Rifle that does solar damage and has zero charge time) VoC = Vision of Confluence (Raid Scout rifle from VoG) FB = Fatebringer (Raid Hand cannon with Arc Damage from VoG) AE = Atheon's Epilogue (Raid Auto Rifle with Void damage from VoG) TLW = The Last Word (Exotic hand cannon) UR = Universal Remote (Exotic Primary Shotty) SGA = Super Good Advice (Exotic Machine Gun) P&T or PnT = Patience and Time (Exotic Sniper) HoC = Hunger of Crota (Raid Rocket Launcher from CE) GH or Ghorn = Gjallarhorn (the most desired rocket launcher in the game) SC = Strange Coins (Currency for Xur) CA = Cryptarch (Biggest troll in Destiny, also decodes engrams) CP = Checkpoint, typical in the context of raids IB = Iron Banner or Ice Breaker (based on context) TDB = The Dark Below, Expansion 1 HoW = House of Wolves, Expansion 2 TFWPKY = "The Fall Will Probably Kill You" legendary hand cannon Another NITC = "Nail In The Coffin" legendary scout rifle PE = Public Event (Scheduled activities in Patrol Mode) LFG = Looking For Group (Popular for assembling raid parties, DestinyLFG.com The100.io) Rockets McDickface = Valus Ta'aurc, Mars Strike Boss (Because he fires lots of rockets and I think you get the rest.) Majors = Any enemy with a yellow health bar and generic name. Ultra = Specifically named enemies with yellow health bars, typically these are bosses. Xursday = The weekly 2 days visit from Xur, vendor of Exotic weapons, Exotic Armor and frequent disappointment because he didn't have Ghorn. Synth = Ammo Synthesis, consumable items for instantly refilling your ammo. ROC (In all caps) = Commonly misused nomenclature for the Level 26 strike playlist. Doesn't mean anything, in fact, it's Roc, a mythological giant bird of prey. Strike playlists are so named after the ferocity/size of their animal namesake. EULA = End User License Agreement, that agreement no body read before they played Destiny, clearly stating that you do not in fact own the game, nor are you entitled to everything on the disc, but rather you own a license to play the games most current form, granted you bought the expansions, which may include you being locked out of certain activities that require the TDB and soon, HoW. This should give any newbie a good vocabulary for the Destiny forums.
