Chillybean's Crackpot Theory: "Pure" Hive?
As the title suggests, I decided to wildly speculate on something I know little about, the reason being that I hope someone intellegent in these matters can do something legitimate with it. Probably won't do it often, but here goes.
The Hive, as we know, are one of the armies the Darkness uses against the Traveler and the Light. They're necrotic creatures that highly resemble undead, what with their bones showing and the whatnots. There are many bits dialog that also seem to support that they are [i]actually[/i] undead.
Here's where my crazy speculation comes in. What if the Hive we know is an undead and corrupt version of a race we haven't met yet? A race that is very similar in appearance, but still living, and not affected by whatever rose their dead?
TL;DR (or maybe just couldn't understand because I'm bad at words)
This theory states that the Hive we know are evil, space-magic-y zombies of a race we haven't met yet.

2 RepliesWhat about the wormspore if you watched the court of oryx stream there is a thrall on the ground with wormspore to collect if you follow the theory the light eating worms are feeding of them this would help that. It seems to be an infection growing on them its very similar to the infection seen in the last of us.
