Telling your parents

I was talking on AOL instant messenger with my dad and started to explain to him that I am in an elite group of warriors in space called the Peentie Squeenchers and we got into a big fight. He said I was a disappointment and mom said I need to stop the video games and pro wrestling enthusiasm and get a job in marketing or as a paralegal. How can I convince my parents that this is the greatest thing to ever happen in my life?
