The legacy of the eyes chapter 2

Chapter 2 When he opened his eyes, he didn't see anything and had a Ringing in his ears. He was Confused by this. He had only blinked. Slowly the world came into focus. The Ringing went away and he saw the inside of his pod. That was strange, he thought. It was just as he thought this as he heard "door opening, prepare for an emergency. The door opened, and the ground came rushing at him. It took him a second to get his beatings. He was looking out and had fell forward at least 6 feet. He began to feel the pain. And there was plenty of it. He knew that he should have been seriously injured, though he felt, well he wasn't fine. Not by a long stretch, but he wasn't badly injured. The important part was he could walk. Picked himself up, winced from the pain, and began walking. He joined out the door and into the hall. Men in red and white uniforms with a striped create holding guns came running by. He kept going, hoping to get out of there. He found a door, went through it, and there was a ship. It looked brand new. It was painted red and held the same Crest as on the men. At that moment one can bursting through the door and held a rifle to trexus' face. "DON'T SHOOT DON'T SHOOT!" he yelled The soldier looked him up and down, then shot him in the foot, ran to his ship, and took off. As he did trexus saw other ships in the sky, all of which bearing this cross. He lay there for a while. He thought he would bleed out. He would die without knowing anything about what had happened, with out any answers or information. He drifted into unconsciousness, expecting death. He awoke to the sound of an engine, a jumpship engine, landing on the same pad. He took a second to ponder the fact that he was not dead, then forgot all about that when the ship landed and the door opened. From inside the ship out came another soldier, this time with a badge of 3 letters. 3 letters he would eventually know very well. F, W, and C. The soldier ran up to him and dragged him into his ship, leaving him there. And Trexus waited Eventually the man came back. He said something about the healing field keeping you alive. Trexus couldn't understand over the pain. He lay there for what seemed like hours, until the finally landed. He didn't think they broke atmosphere, he didn't feel a shake. This was bad news, he just wanted to go home. When they landed 2 men ran into the ship carrying a stretcher. They hoisted trexus up and into it, Causing him great pain, and ran off. He watched the ceiling as they ran with him. It looked as though they were inside a cave. He was eventually set down and a group of doctors surrounded him. He patched him up as best they could, and told him to rest. The rest day was a blur, he lay there for a long, long time. Waiting for the pain to stop. It didn't. Most people newer face a pure unrelenting feeling of pain for as long as trexus did, so therefore not many know what it's like. When pain doesn't go away after a long, long time, you stop hurting. The pain isn't gone, you just fail to acknowledge it's existence. After this is done it makes it much easier to focus on other things. Other things such as why he was here, who he was with, and where he was. Thinking about these things caused a panic to come over him. Nothing that had happened made any sense. He wanted answers. Maybe these people had them. The next day a doctor came to check on Jim. He did a basic check up, similar tothe one from before. After he finished he began to talk. "you seem to have survived the cloning procedure basically unscathed. I'm sure you're very confused right now. Usually we don't tell subjects what is happening." "you better believe I'm confused!" he said angrily. "i've been whisked away, never to see my family again and I'm not happy about it. Now you're saying I survived a cloning process! You better give me some answers right now!" I understand you're angry but I can't help you right now. Tomorrow there will someone get to talk to you," he said. For now you must rest. "I dont want to rest!" he yelled. "I want answers, and I want them now! "hmph, you must be defective, I'll make sure next time they make you more Obedient." the doctor said. Then everything faded away. thanks for reading. If you want to read more click the TSoE tag. If you have question/find a mistake/ give feed back leave a comment!
