I honestly like it. Use it all the time in the raid. Got mine to 318

Edited by RdDragonEmperor: 10/10/2015 4:04:10 PMIt's not a bad weapon overall. Bouncing rounds has been a continues to be a bullshit perk. Charge time vs ammo capacity could us some fine tuning. Considering it's the new QBB it's the strongest sniper in the game per shot. The hype was because of the players. People read a headline and got hype. Truth is if sleeper was the new gally it would break the game just like gally did.
-
Thing is it doesn't FEEL powerful, a lot like year2 handcannons. The thing is it IS powerful but since it doesn't feel that way many disregard it. It's also quite boring to shoot, with no explosions. It's amazing how the mind works, adding a louder sound when firing would most likely change many views on this weapon.
-
honestly it is worth the slot, i have done test with all current exotics and the only thing that comes close to rivaling the gun is black spind. People are upset its not gally 2.0 but honestly im glad. So many relied on gally to beat everything, hell i remember being booted from raids because i did not have gally for the longest time.
-
They didn't want it to be an OP gun, so people wouldn't be elitists and go "must have sleeper simulant."
-
its a beast takes chunks of life of the zealots..can actually see the health go down alot hit by hit

It is amazing.
-
Not to me.
-
Its a good gun, the perk works well for me and the ammo isn't an issue considering its a damn heavy! Don't know what gun you've been using but it sure as shit cant be the sleeper
-
Used it in the raid, it's ok but you're better off with snipers and machine guns. It's more of a Major killer in strikes or patrol.
-
Fun to use Meant to give thought about what exotic weapon to use Meant for bosses
-
It was used to 4 man Hard Mode Oryx. Just saying.
-
I can't even get the RNG drop the fourth the weapon's element..!
-
I think people are disappointed with it because they expected it to be on level with the Gjallarhorn. I personally love it
-
Edited by t_blades: 10/26/2015 3:31:31 PMIt is the best weapon in certain situations. Highest DPS in the game and melts if you hit your shots. Ammo can be an issue but it's a heavy so you shouldn't be using it all the time. The main issue was with all the "New Ghorn" hype people were expecting another best for every scenario gun. Bungie has done a great job in giving us options with our loadouts in this expansion
-
It has its uses. You just have to find them. For me its nothing right now, but it use to be a vanguard strike weapon.
-
Your problem is actually believing hype from a bunch of Gjallarhorn users haha oh and 12 year olds
-
The hype was real, but 2 outta 3 times while doing the raid, on golg I am doing the most damage compared to the rest of my fireteam and they use black spindle.
-
Nope.
-
Yes it's all hype, nothing more
-
It wrecks for bosses but that's about all I use it for. Pvp sometimes too because it's fun
-
My stimulant is at 311 and it -blam!-s alllllllllll ultras in the hard mode. Ogres have no chance. Not a disappointment, it's a success. Because even if everyone was wanting the ghorn bac, it wouldn't do any damage at the end of the raid.
-
Hell no. It shreds Ultras, and either kills Majors out right or leaves them with a pubic hair of health
-
The quest and hype left me pretty disappointed. It's situational.. but never the best option for any situation.
-
It's a railgun not a rocket with tracking cluster bombs. It will never be a ghorn 2.0. It makes one hell of a tank killer though. (i can usually hit 2 corners with 1 round, 3 rounds tend to destroy them)
