Enter the Darkness Chapter Four Part Two

[b]Part Two right here. Enjoy.[/b] The key was set. The Sentinels were on there way to Mars to finish the Darkness. "Well here it is guys. The gate to the Black Garden." Nova studies the gate. "Looks a bit run down don’t you think?" Shadow says. Kilear grabs his shoulder. "What? Scared your armor's gonna get alittle rusty?" Shadow pushes him off. "No I'm scared that we're gonna get sent to another dimension you idiot." "Ok now while we are in there, NO FIGHTING. I'll kill both of you before you kill each other. Now lets go." Nova turns toward the Gate. "Ghost, you know what to do." The Ghost lets out a pulse, then the gate starts up. "Let's hope this works." The Gate opens. "GO!" The fire team runs though. Nova and Kilear get spit out in the Garden and land on there feet. Nova looks around. "Where's Shadow?" Shadow flies out of the Gate and hits a wall, leaving a crater. "Ouch." He pulls himself free. "Ok. I'm ready." The fire team start there journey though the Garden. "You would think that the Vex would have more things here to kill us." Kilear says. One of the Vex statues breaks away from the moss and wall and grabs Nova by the throat. "You have to jinx us didn’t you?" Nova force melees the Vex into the wall, setting off more vex in the area. Kilear points at Nova. "That was your fault, not mine." The fire team pushes there way through the Vex. The path leads to an outdoor area showing the Garden at its fullest. Nova grunts in disgust. "Tis an unweeded Garden, That grow to seed. Things rank and Gross in nature." Shadow scans some plants as Kilear looks at Nova. "Why all fancy with your language?" Nova turns slowly to Kilear. "What do you mean?" "I mean you sounded fancy. Did you get that from someone?" "I read it in a book. A tragedy." As Nova starts to rant, Shadow whispers to Kilear. "It's about here I'll zone out and think to my self." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "We have to be getting close." Nova pulls out his Ice Breaker and surveys the area. Kilear looks ahead at the door and then faints. He wakes up in a white room, strapped to a chair. Where am I? He thinks. 'Disgrace.' Someone whispers in his ear. 'You'll die…..just like your parents.' "Shut up." Kilear tries to break away from the chair but fails. 'Don’t you remember. Your father died just like your mother. Shot in the back of his head. The same thing that’s going to happen to you.' "SHUT UP. GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HEAD!" Off in the distance Kilear hears a familiar female voice. "KILEAR HELP ME." Then a gunshot. "KILEAR, KILEAR" The voice screams his name though his head as Kilear wakes up and finds Shadow with a ward up and Nova above him, shaking him. "Kilear wake the hell up!" Kilear starts to cry. "What the hell happened?" "I'm not to sure. You might have passed out from exhaustion. We have to get going." "Where is my helmet?" Kilear asks. Nova points at the ghastly looking helmet. 'Could this Symbiotic helmet cause this nightmare?' "Kilear come on we're moving" Nova yells. Kilear puts on the helmet on and runs toward them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The fire team walks up to the final door. "This is it. No going back from here. You guys ready?" Nova looks behind him to see the other two nodding. "Let's do this." The door opens. Inside is a floating mass of energy, three statues and a lot of stationary Vex. The door behind them close as the Vex awaken. The floating mass sends energy to the statues as two of them turn to life and walk off the pedestals. Kilear pulls out his Golden Gun and shoots at three Vex and one of the statues. "That Vex just shrugged off a bullet from my Gun. Be carful." Shadow runs up to one of the statues and grabs its leg. He climbs up it until he gets to its weak spot. He charges up his Fist of Havoc and punches straight through its core and kills it. Nova runs up to the second statue and nova bombs it. Seeing it was ineffective, he uses his radiance and cluster bombed the statue till it fell. The floating mass sends on last wave of energy to the last statue. The statue wakes and immediately grabs Kilear. "You are now fused with us and until you turn, we will not resist in destroying your body to build a new one," is all Kilear heard from the Vex. He pulls out his Arc Blade and stabs the Vex's hand and grabs its chest. He stabs through till he hits the core then sticks a Flux Grenade in it and jumps off. The Vex dies and the mass disappears. They are teleported to Venus. In the heart of the Vex. 'Fused with us…' Kilear thought. "We beat the Darkness back. We are not done guys. But we won this battle. Now that the Vex are weak we need to hit them where it really hurts. We need to kill Atheon. We need to raid the Vault of Glass." Nova pulls out his ghost and brings them to orbit.
