Time for Episode 2! [b]Enjoy.[/b] [u] Part of Your World.[/u] [b]March 25, 2015. Manhattan, New York. 7th Avenue & W. 43rd Street. U.S. Polo Assn. Store[/b] Kane entered the store, and browsed the overpriced polo shirts. "Hello, can we help you find something?" Kane turned to the man talking. "No, sir. I'm just looking as of right now." The man nodded, and proceeded to help the other customers. Kane was used to New York, while he was just someone visiting, he had already grasped the culture and manners of New Yorkers. As Kane roamed the building, he couldn't help but notice a girl walk in. The girl looked to be in her twenties, she had chest-length hai- [i]*he is interrupted, by the same female voice*[/i] [b]Athena: "Can you stop obsessing over my chest? Stop being so damn thirsty!"[/b] [b]Kane: "Are yo- Seriously?! I'm giving a description of you for God's sake! Do you want me to describe like you're the ugliest being on this planet?!"[/b] [b]Athena: "You wouldn't.."[/b] [b]Kane: "Watch me."[/b] The girl appeared to be in her nineties, she had balding white hair, and enough wrinkles to make the Queen of England seem seventee- [b]Athena: "OKAY OKAY! I'll stop."[/b] [b]Kane: "Damn right."[/b] Kane noticed a girl walk into the store, she seemed to be in her twenties. Her long brown hair fell down to her chest, her hands tucked into her back pockets. Kane was in awe, she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen in his life. She had everything, a curvy figure, the look of both innocence and naughtiness. She could have been on television if she wanted, and Kane fell for her instantly. [b]Athena: "Ha! I knew it."[/b] [b]Kane: " 'Twas a miserable time for young love." [/b] [b]Athena: "Yes, it was." [/b] Because Kane was the most timid being alive, he did not approach her for quite some time. He admired her from a distance, and he admired her well. But, he knew his time was limited. So, as she was about to leave the store, he ran up to her, face red. "Uh, Miss." He says, looking anywhere but at her face. [i]*laughing rings out*[/i] [b]Kane: "Athena! Shut! Up!" [/b] [i]*laughing grows in volume*[/i] [b]Kane: "I hate you."[/b] [b]Athena: "Love you too, babe."[/b] The girl looks at him, a flawless eyebrow raised."Yes?" "I was wondering if I could perhaps have your number?" Kane musters the courage to look her straight in the eyes. Her green eyes met his grey eyes, and it was an odd clash of feelings. Kane was feeling shy, a certain fear. While this woman felt confused, and out of place. "Sure." She reached for a pen and paper in her handbag, she scribbled down the number and handed it to him. "Thank yo-" As he grabbed the slip of paper and looked up from examining it, she was gone. [i]Jump Forward To: May 12, 2015. 2:19 A.M.[/i] Kane had not even touched the number the girl gave to him. He had no excuses for not calling or texting the girl, other than he was afraid to. Constantly, all he could think is that she had probably forgotten him by now, and would not respond to the messages or calls he gave her. [b]Athena: "Not true, I did not forget you at all."[/b] [b]Kane: *just nods*[/b] Kane decided to just do it, he dialed the numbers into the number pad. He had the same area code as her, so he knew he could find her if needed. As he finished punching the numbers in, he calls her. The familiar ringing of the phone sounded inside his apartment, and he laid in bed, and stared directly at the ceiling. "Hello?" His face lit up, a smile settling itself upon it. "Hey, this i-" The girl cut him off. "That guy from New York, right? Didn't I give you my number in March or something?" "Yeah, I just haven't touched it since then." She giggled on the other side of the line, and from that moment, Kane new that he and this girl were going to have a long relationship. But he didn't know that he would ever come to be where he is now. [i]*the voices begin to fade out*[/i] "Why don't we start with our names. I'm Athena." "My name is Kane." She giggled again. "Wait. Kane as in.. Cane? Or is it with a 'K.'" He laughed and replied quickly. "It's with a 'K.'" [i]*the image is muddled, and Kane and Athena begin to talk*[/i] [b]Athena: "I never knew you were a Disney guy. I mean, 'A Whole New World' and 'Part of Your World?' "[/b] [b]Kane: "Nothing is wrong with Disney." [/b] [b]Athena: "Yeah, yeah. I'm Athena!" [/b] [b]Kane: "I'm Kane!" [/b] [i]*in sync*[/i] [b]Both: "We'll see you in the next, One-Shot!"[/b] [i]*off set*[/i] [b] Athena: "When's it my turn? Wouldn't I love, love to explore that shore up above?"[/b] [b]Kane: "Out of the sea, wish I could be.." [/b] [b]Both: "Part of Your... World." [/b] Annnd. Scene.
