Rules: https://www.bungie.net/en/Clan/Post/884122/108906951 Suggested chat program: http://www.chatzy.com/ A lot of guardians haven't been willing to get into the social aspect of the game because they're uncomfortable with interacting with other people for fear of embarrassment and other social stresses. There is no need to worry like that in this clan; we take in any kind of player here. A lot of people had heard the horror stories of DestinyLFG and that has done nothing to help their feelings of awkwardness. This clan is built around that worry and hopefully making you feel a bit better about that. There are absolutely no requirements to join Awkward Guardians. - We do not require mics, and if you have them we do not need you to use them if you're uncomfortable with that. - You can be any experience level from fresh in the tower to an experienced raider. - You do however need to read the rules posted at the top.

Tips for Crota

Hey all, I know I usually don't do this but tonight I'm reaching out to you for some tips. I'm a level 30 Hunter, and I'm soloing Crota's End. I've gotten to the bridge section, but I've been stuck here for quite a while. I can get across the gap by doing the blink jump across, but I never have enough time to kill the gatekeeper. Any and all tips would be appreciated, as I'm hoping to get through this soon. Thanks Guardians! EDIT: Yes, I know it isn't possible to finish Crota at 30 and very difficult without Ghallahorn. All I'm doing is at least attempting to get to the last cp solo.

  • -Don't die. -ALWAYSkeep an eye on boomers on your way inside if your in mid to the back of the group. -Once you shoot your rocket at Crota keep shooting him with your primary. -Be a gentlemen, throw grenades to where the knight dropped his sword so the sword bearer doesn't get thralled or explosive thralled. -Don't go around exploring. Once inside the Crystal room STAY next to the Crystal room. Don't want the sword bearer exploring to far to the right or left. -get on top of the doors during ogre phase and kill them quick with rockets or well placed sniper shots. Then continue with the next ogre. -If you don't have tracking/grenades and horseshoes perk on your rocket aim for Crotas feet. If your fire team fails to do this 3-5 times tell them. If you still have random people dying after knowing this then kick or leave. Its common knowledge.

    • Abyss: Icebreaker, bladedancer, don't touch me gauntlets. Bridge: Blackhammer/LDR/SOLAR tracking rockets. Thrallway: A decent sniper and rockets. Deathsinger: Dunno if possible at 30. I use Gjallerjhorn and LDR.

    • You can just ignore the gate keeper, or go behind a lamp by the end of the bridge until he falls off the edge trying to hit you. If you want to kill him with the sword use heavy hits. It's seems like he'll kill you but if you spam it you should kill him before he gets the second hit in. Deathsinger spam that invis, it's your best friend. Elevated ground is the trick here, and patience. As for crota, why are people saying you can't do any damage? You should be fine if your doing normal. Cap was Lvl 30 when the raid came out, the first groups to beat it didn't even have time to hit 31 first. Anyways, I find the sides the most useful place to down him, then the boomers won't hit you(they love it when you go mid on a solo).

Sorry to be the bringer of bad news but it is impossible to solo Crotas End as a level 30. I wouldn't try until you are a 32 with Gjallahorn.

          • Ignore the gatekeeper and focus of the minions until the ogres show up. If you stand near the edge, you might even trick the gatekeeper into bull rushing right over the edge. No idea how you will get past death singer or Crota though Good luck.
