pvp tips for beginners
So here you are, just finished a match of pvp and you did terrible! You hate pvp but you need that extra xp from bounties. Here are some tips for you
1- don't follow the group unless playing with a team that will have your back, right off the start just cap that home flag for super energy but after that don't follow the horde of your team because they will be going to most direct route and also expected route by your enemies.
Pick the most unpredictable route to catch your enemies off guard and also gain a few kills to get your super above everyone.
2- use that stupid crouch button.
Whenever you can use it! It totally throws your enemies off guard they are chasing you and you run around a corner, pop a squat and wait for them with a shotty. Your trying to sneak up on a enemy lure them into your team just crouch walk around it throws them off.
3- grenades are amazing if used properly.
This is a judgment call but do not just pull a call of duty and throw them when you spawn.
4- pair up your gun combos.
usually I run with a long range and a short range gun sometime I mix it up depends on my play style and role for that game. Just pay attention to how you play and what your getting killed from and at what distance.
5- heavy is a slaughter house.
I hardly pick up heavy anymore because there is a lot of times where ppl wait with supers and kill everyone once they pick it up.
What I do usually is don't bother with heavy unless its safe to do so but usually I go away from the heavy pickups and chill for a bit just find a spot and pop a squat and wait for the rockets and machine guns to stop going off and then boom! You strike.
6- getting outgunned? Run.
This ain't no place for a hero. Better to run and hide to regen health then just giving them a kill
7- strategy.
I know not a lot of ppl are good at pvp but use common sense, if they are capping a flag and there's 3 or more of them then don't rush in like a bull, stay behind cover, throw a nade and start shooting from afar if you take out a couple then you go for it but just be careful.
Yea there's more to know but these are survival tips and stuff so I hope they help you guys :)

1 ReplyHere's a tip. Don't sprint unless there is no red on your map. Sprinting increases the time it takes to aim down sights. Watch your mini map and point yourself in the general direction of the enemies. Don't stay ads too long. It takes just a second for someone to flank you. If you know where someone is and they know where you are don't stand out in the open waiting to fire at them when they pop out of cover. There is some lag between when they see you and you see them. They will almost always outgun you. Strafe out of cover and ads when you see them. Make that lag work for you. If you don't see anyone just rinse repeat till they are standing in the open. Don't stay still. Strafe back and forth or keep going one direction as you fire. They should miss a few shots and let you outgun if you can hit the head consistently. If you have two+ enemies firing at you when you move from cover, get back to cover asap. Go a different direction or wait for them to focus on a team mate. Never enter a gunfight at less than full health. If you take hits and don't kill the fella, hide and regen health to full then try again. Many make the mistake. If you get a kill and there is another enemy and you are low on health, sprint back to nearest cover. Use your movement abilities, jump, blink, shoulder charge. If you need to charge at someone to get close for shotgun and they are pointed at you, do a single jump or a double jump and immediate cancel to stay low. This throws aim off your head. Believe me when I tell you that this will get you that few extra feet consistently. That is all for now.

Telling beginners to go in alone might not be the best tip. They might catch someone offguard but if you get an expierenced player you're dead anyway. - Stick close to one or two teammates, but don't cuddle them. You don't want to give the other team a double/triple kill. - Watch your radar. Red means target. - Use the guns you're most comfortable with. Their may be better guns out there but if you can't use them it won't help you. - Shoot at anything that moves. After a while you'll notice the difference between friend or foe, but for now better to waste one bullet than one life. - Don't die.

1 ReplyYes avoid face to face gun battles and crouch in a corner with a shotgun, you won't look like a complete scrub a-hole or anything because this seems to be what 99% of people do now.

You don't ha e to use a shotgun. But you can very easily discombobulate the majority of players with a proper blink

As a newt player I was told to worry more about not dying than getting a tons of kills... Cause it won't typically work that way. I don't pvp much but I think the tip has merit.

Solid op. Newer players should definitely slow down a bit and avoid running to their death repeatedly.
