Discrimination younger players?

This is a quote from one of our clan members that was in a party with me recently. What happened was, I was in a party with a friend (I'm not going to name him just a friend) and he has asked me to do prison of elders I said well do you have another person to do it with? He said no I don't another few friends asked us to use the LFG clan forums. I told him to do it. He told me Sonnet you do it, they help you but not me. That has to be the saddest words I have ever heard. A younger player won't get help with his objective because others want to play with more mature people. Well guess what? WE ARE A CLAN! WE LOOK AFTER OUR OWN, WE HELP EACH OTHER! I SHOULD NEVER HEAR A YOUNGER PLAYER TELL ME NO ONE WILL HELP THEM! All I am asking is... No matter how old or young, stick out your hand and help younger players. Now Chu, I apologize for not helping you today. I shouldn't have been so lazy that I couldn't help you buddy. I am sorry. Next time you need help you join on me, vilkas, airman, or anyone. We are here to help. The reason I brought this up was because I have noticed on all the games I play besides destiny, on all the forum posts I read people refuse to help younger players. I don't ever want to see another forum post like the link below again. -$onnetjolt

I don't care how old you are, I will help you as long as I am free and you can carry your own weight. I won't do a raid with a team that can't even get close to finishing a raid. I am willing to help as long as you are skilled enough and have good enough gear for the encounter, and if you don't, I may be able to help you doing something easier if Im not busy. Its not about age really, I dont think anybody on the clan is bothered by someone's age.

Edited by Seekerhawk: 5/20/2015 9:29:28 PMI join anyone that asks me to, never turned anyone down because of age, and kids are funny, they make sound effects, and get emotional when things get intense or they get killed..I don't care what age anyone is, as long as they play well, last game I played in our clan had hundreds of people, and I was second in charge, and an admin. And a goodly amount of our group were kids, never had a problem with them, cept they ask a lot of questions, which was okay. Good post though, didn't even know it was a problem.

I have helped a lot younger kids and there are some that understand what to do and not to do

I had to post on that forum theres a horribly large amount of so called mature adults that cant read apparently they keep saying the game is for ppl 18 and up or its rated mature yet if they take the time to look it up (witch I did before replying so I wouldnt look as ignorant as they did) The game is rated T for teen so all that should be 18 stuff is garbage. My only reason that I avoid underage persons while plaing is my lack of filter. Its nothing to do with them or their actions and everything to do with me and my lack of personal control not to yell out obsenities or say something inapropriate. the last thing I want is for some angry parent to hear me say somthing about the fallen being a bunch or c**kSuck**s and report me for being foul mouthed around their kid. but Also im so bad at the game I am not helpful anyway :)
