What do you think makes borderlands great?

As the title says, what do you think makes the borderlands franchise great? Also what do you think Gearbox/2K could add or remove to borderlands 3 to make it as successful as its predecessors (kinda excluding TPS) except for lasers, butt stomps and glitch weapons)

I personally think Mister Torge and kreig are what make this game great, I just wish they bring back Atlas and SMS Munitions!
