Xur location and items

Happy Xursday, everyone! This week, Xur is getting ready for E3 by allowing you to dash from press conference to conference, get a much needed burst of energy to keep up with the news, and give your friends a helping hand when they stumble. OK, this is just really a clever way of avoiding the subject. Xur has a bunch of stuff that, while good, isn't terribly revolutionary. Here's the full rundown: Location: Xur is back in the tower, hanging out in the bar "pre-gaming" before E3. Head right from the spawn point, down the corridor, turn left and head to the stairway in the back of the hangar. He's at his reserved table in the back. Exotic chest engrams will set you back 23 motes of light. Xur is now also trading motes of light for strange coins.  Note that Xur's exotic gear has given 36/42 light since House of Wolves was released. The stats on the Mk. 44 Stand Asides are 30/36 making it one to avoid
