KTV Clan Reflection- About Last Night...

Why are you in this clan? For me, I'm here to have a positive shared experience with a group of others looking to do the same. I'm here to help others accomplish their goals, and obtain whatever it is they're looking for out of playing this game/being a part of this clan. I'm here because I enjoy logging in to Destiny, firing up Party Chat, and chatting with the rest of you crazy mother-blam!-ers. I'm hoping for most of you, your reasons for being a part of this are similar. I enjoy that we're able to have the freedom to say whatever and it doesn't get taken too seriously because we all know each other and it's cool. Except for last night. One of our own was attempting to stream on Twitch while playing with fellow clan members when a friend of theirs came to check out their stream and was immediately belittled by a few members. This was a friend of the streamer, not a fellow clan member or someone known to us. Some members here have started streaming on Twitch, and with that comes a certain responsibility for the rest of us. If you are playing with a Twitch streamer while they are broadcasting, they are ALLOWING you to be a part of that. Some broadcast on Twitch because that's what they want to do for a living. I can tell you, if I was a viewer on that particular stream and saw how that person was treated I wouldn't come back. When you're on a stream, you're not just representing yourself, you're representing all of us. If it's just us, I don't care what anyone says, it's all in good fun, but that's not what this was. I do not tolerate this type of negative behavior and if anyone doesn't like this, they're free to leave, or I can personally remove you myself. In happier news, congratulations to Hunterman for his first flawless run on Trials! After my first real attempt this weekend, I can say for sure that is an accomplishment. I recently discovered that you can actually track entire clans on DestinyTracker.com. I'm going to use this as a tool to flush out the inactive players in this clan because you can see when the last time clan members have logged into Destiny. If you haven't logged on at all in the last 2 months, or posted anything on the wall or on the forums, you're out. This should free up space for new people who hopefully want to be here. I've seen some of you recruiting others you play with that weren't previously in KTV. Know that I definitely appreciate that. With the TTK coming soon I expect to see many coming back or many new players. Let's try to take advantage of this and add some newer more active players to KTV. As always, if you've read this, know that I appreciate that as, well.
