Lvl 25 consumable?
I have a question about the 1 time lvl 25 consumable: I've never started a 2nd character but I seem to recall getting to lvl 20 wasn't that bad and I thought you have to play through the story with an alt to access later content anyway... So it seems like making an alt now, leveling to 20, then equipping gear I already own to jump from 20->34 would potentially be easier than starting at 25 and leveling until 34.
Am I wrong about having to replay the story to unlock things with an alt? The black garden is lvl 18 so it seems like I only really need to grind from 18-20 and then gear up to 34 to start with my alt at 34 for the taken King.

1 ReplyI don't remember ever hearing that you needed an alt to access any content. Taken King will have class specific quests, but that's the only thing I know. Could be wrong though. And leveling an alt to 34 before the Taken King would be better if you can do it. Although the leveling in TTG will be all XP based so it will be consistently gained with any activity and not so much the grind it is now where you look for light gear. That is what I understood from the stream yesterday at least.
