The first curse advice
DRPFam,
I need some help deciding on a good load out for PVP. Maybe it's the closet hipster in me but I really think that The First Curse is a viable. I'm thinking that rather than the "traditional " HC + sniper set up the given FC's high range stat that maybe a sidearm would be the best pairing. If that is the case what type of perks should I be looking for or what types of special weapons should I look for, OR should I just abandon First Curse and wait for that sweet sweet Last Word drop. Thanks for the advice

I like FC a lot. Range was sick, but received a bit of a nerf w/ April update. I pair mine with a shotty (party crasher or 2 to the morgue) or Fusion most of the time. FC has nearly MIDA range, and can operate up close (put down shotgun rushers) when you need to.

I've gotten killed by the first curse a few times. That thing can be nasty. Unfortunately I haven't had much luck with side arms and haven't seen many in crucible, save one. There was a guy running around with inflection that looked like an old WWII hand gun, unfortunately I didn't inspect him or remember the name of it -_-. All in all, if you can wield one well a sidearm seems like it could also be really good. I'll keep my eyes peeled
