4 RepliesThe first time I read catcher in the Rye I thought holden was such a piece of shit and I thought the book was shit. But after analyzing it more, I found that Salinger is a genius for what he wrote: the symbolism especially. As for me I found Night by Elie Weisel to be marvelous. It inspired me to do the Holocaust art/writing contest and actually making it into the finals to meet Weisel himself, the last year he was there before he passed [spoiler]RIP[/spoiler]

Favorite book: Biblical by Christopher Galt (if you haven't read it you absolutely should Movie: Braveheart or Gladiator Movie Series: Iron Man (I would say the Dark Knight trilogy but I like Iron Man more) Show: The Office and Friday Night Lights (it would be toss up they're both so good) Also, I really hope that you've read not only the Shawshank Redemption novella (Rita Hayworth and the Shawshank Redemption) by Stephen King but also the other novellas that are in the [i]Different Seasons[/i] book.
