Destiny-Fourth Character?
Hello everyone, Bungie has hinted at the possibility of a fourth character for quite some time now, and I want to know what your idea of a fourth character could or should be. Personally I liked the idea of an engineer type class who could summon a pet shank and support the team, but I would like to see what your ideas would be.

Sources of Bungie hinting at fourth class? They've obviously hinted at a third subclass but not a fourth character/class.

3 RepliesThey should make a medic class of some sort. Yrs, everyone can provide support in some way or another, but having an ability to truly throw out heals to teammates would be awesome in raids. Medic: Mending Grenade: Throw a grenade made of pure light that heals all teammates within x feet for y seconds. Alchemists Grenade: Tosses a grenade into the air, exploding and curing debuffs such as poison and staggering from teammates. Grants a small shield based off of debuffs dispelled. More ideas anyone??

Makes me think of a Mechromancer... I'd be excited for almost any new material, but I hope they throw in an additional character slot for it.

Does it matter? All classes play the same.... It's not a MMO really. But for looks...I'd like to see a reptile or animal character.

2 RepliesOk, here's my idea The fourth class is none other than TONY HAWK The grenade is an energy drink that you throw at the enemies and they get diabetes When you perform the super, the whole map turns into the 1999 X games and you complete the first 900 on a skateboard. This causes the other team to lapse into a frozen state of awe while they're softly muttering "whooaa" and "That's so rad". This gives you're team the chance to kill them while they're distracted and you get all of the points. Can't make this happen without the communities help. I know bungie will be all for it.

As people have said, engineer. Super(void class variant): resupply fire team ammo and have first clip deal void damage. Super(solar class variant): reduce fire team grenade cooldown for a certain amount of time and have grenade deal solar damage Super(arc class variant): each fire team member is granted a brief pulsing aoe thing for a limited time. Just my two cents.

This actually makes a lot of sense because of the mysterious coins at the tower. These coins have a symbol on them that are plastered all over the concrete, flags. etc. at the tower. If you look at them there are four sections. One section for each class, signified by the pattern made with the starting emblems for each class; however, there is one left over. I'm not saying it has to symbolize something, but it does make sense if there is a fourth class. Just something that came to mind when I saw this.

Or a super that revives any dead teammates at once.plus a healing grenade that they throw on the ground and last for about ten seconds . Any teammate can restore health by walking into it.but damages enemys if they enter.

We could have a character based on the fallen that work for the queen. We wouldn't do all the tower missions but our base would be with the awoken. We would start out with the awoken and get 'loaned' to the tower till she wants us back.

7 RepliesThey could really think outside of the box. In some early missions on the moon they hinted at a ghost being infected with the darkness, so you have a ghost that is powered by the darkness, and a guardian who uses darkness for his abilities. Then we could give him a back story that bungie would never tell us explaining why he is still helping the light even though he uses the darkness. Total bad ass.
