do I get double loot?
If I do the vog on normal and get rewards then do it on hard the same day (obviously the same week) would I get rewards again or do I wait next week?

If you do hard you get all the rewards at the same time (so normal and Hard) Which (if you're lucky) saves time and effort. If you do normal and then hard same day I heard you can and can't get rewards but you should get them no matter what. If you have already done hard and you do VoG same week you won't get anything.
