nightfall solo 28/10

Just finished soloing nexus on nightfall, some tips that might help others.. [b]modifiers[/b] Void burn - 300% void damage Angry - enemies don't flinch Lightswitch - enemies do 300% Melee Nightfall Epic [b]Servitors.[/b] Stay in the room just before the main room where all the adds spawn, to the right of the door is a console you can hide behind. The first Servitors is an ass and hides in the back room, clear out all the adds from the main room.. Run out and climb on one of the structures just a few meters in front of your door, jump/double jump/glide and pop void rockets into him when he becomes visible.. 2 should be enough. Once dead run back to your doorway hiding space. Once again, clear adds.. Be aware if the elite vandals mixed in, although I never had one enter the room I hid in, I'm not willing to guarantee it! Once the adds are cleared a bit another Servitors should be floating about, 2 void sniper shots to the eye and it's down. Same again for last Servitors, be aware of elite vandals as well as invisible vandals. Snipe Servitors - win. Once he's down, a few vandals come out of the top door on the gangway, I'd recommend sniping them from down below as they're also elites. [b]Trash.[/b] Trash moving forwards is fairly normal here, if not a little harder to kill due to angry and epic modifiers, take it slow, don't take risks. Once you get to the room with the 3 harpies, stop. The harpies have an arc shield for one and chances are you didn't bring an arc weapon, good job I mentioned it aye?! In the next room there is an Axis goblin.. Elite, fast moving, insane rate of fire void bomber type weapon. I popped his head off by accident and he chased me all the way back to the Servitors room. Not cool. I'd recommend wasting a rocket on him because frankly he was the closest thing to killing me the whole run. Next room, kill the regular goblins as usual, ether hide back in the door way whilst doing this to avoid hobgoblin snipers, or dash out, snipe them, dash back in. Shortly after 2 elite minotars appear, I'd recommend rockets for them as they mean business. Plain sailing minus a few trash packs till nexus now. [b] The nexus[/b]. This is were you have to be methodical. Stay in the cave over looking the nexus. Every 15-25 seconds an elite minotar is going to spawn in the cave entrance behind you, even before the nexus has engaged and your still sniping trash below. 3 void sniper shots takes him down, but you have GOT to stay on him. The method I used was this. Clear trash from room below, wait for top elite to spawn, kill him before he even fully spawns in, take 3-6 shots at the nexus, being sure to pick the side of the cliff he's not focusing fire at. Then around, wait for the elite to spawn again, kill him before he fully spawns again. Rinse. Repeat. Only "death" I had (as a sunsinger it's not all that permanent) was because I ran out of ammo and the elite at the too cave apparently isn't that fond of hugs. One final note. If you two manned this (firstly it would be harder/slower going) BUT one person can be taking shots at the nexus, whilst the other waits towards the back end of the cave. The elite doesn't seem to spawn if you do that, but I didn't full test how far you could go, or how close you needed to be to make this happen without bugging the boss out. Similarly, if your out of ammo and waiting for cool down on synthe, move to the back to prevent the spawn till it comes off CD. The nexus went down with about 20-30 shots from my 300 damage void sniper. Good luck all! Source: personal experience!
