Item upgrade system 300-331 atk RAGE

So i just traded in a near maxed 331 atk Gjallarhorn thinking my old 300 atk Gjallarhorn was equipped. You would have thought there would have been some sort of safeguard against trading in a weapon at the new atk rating but there isnt. Im currently down alot of launcher telemetry, 8k glimmer due to me screwing up and a further 5 or 6k glimmer in upgrading my Gjallarhorn.......
