Need help new to destiny!

Hey guys im new to destiny, only lvl 23 now i have some idea on what to do now i just want advice and people to play with to help lvl up and gain access to good gear and guns. If anyone wants to help or even give me some tips and tricks as what to do now let me know! Thanks guys :)
