4 RepliesI'm keeping it forever. Crucible matches especially. I hope they put more "ancient" weapons throughout the game. They would be mostly collectors items, but applicable in the Crucible obviously. Maybe if we ever get personal quarters they could be decorations to!

It would be neat to have modern(ancient according to game timeline) weapons pop up now and then... maybe weak with unique attributes or abilities. Something for collecting and pvp.

No. It (intentionally) looked like an uninspired "modern" realistic gun.

2 RepliesI use that gun in all crucible matches. It has some recoil but it seems like it makes for easy headshots. Also seems like it has great impact. So glad I didn't break it down lol. When it comes to iron banner I had to drop it for the cydonia though.

I had every intention of keeping the first rifle around forever. Even though stat wise it wasnt as proficient as its counterparts. I had also hoped that there would be some reward for keeping this weapon, as it should be considered a relic in the destiny world. I wish there was some way to upgrade it later in the game, unlocking the full potential. But it doesnt seem the loot system is that deep in this game. Also, on topic. If this really was a russian made weapon, it would be more likely to have an AK-47 or AKM styled upper. The current design suggests "modern day" well, but is also an american/german design (m4, m16, HK416 etc.)
