I'll admit, Siege is a buy I'm still on the fence about. While it comes with RSV and RSV2 on the One (75% of the reason I want to buy it), the gameplay doesn't have me convinced.
I want the opinions of the people that have played the Beta! Is it good? Bad? A little bit of both? Does it feel like a Rainbow Six game?

It's a meh game from me. It's incredibly boring to just play with randoms and it's a MUST to have friends to play with. Had pretty decent fun with the beta though, just not enough content I would say for $60. Since your on the fence, I would wait until it's on sale then you and a bunch of friends buy it and have fun with it.

I enjoyed it but in my opinion it's one of those games worth $40 not $60

It's my first Rainbow 6 game, so, I can't compare it to the previous games. Rainbow 6 plays very well, needing only light balancing, with the occasional glitch. The main problem/ bug with Rainbow 6 is it's servers. Ubisoft seems to be working to fix them, as it is becoming less and less of a problem. In terms of gameplay, Rainbow 6 plays a very fast, but yet communication based multiplayer. I have been crushed before by teams of people less experienced than me, due to pure tactics. I almost never play with a mic, but I feel the need to in Rainbow 6. Each character and weapon class has a purpose, making attachments and customization actually crucial to gameplay. My prediction for a rating for Rainbow 6 Siege, is a 9.5/10.

It does feel like a Rainbow Six game to me, the beta is a little short of what id expect of a next gen game, but the core concept is there. If they can do 15 pvp maps to start and 20+ operators plus fix the bugs, then I will most likely buy it.

Never played a RB6 game before it, I liked the game type, but those suicide bombers...
-
To me it's the realistic shooter I've been waiting for, the class choices are very interesting however some things are kind of over powered *cough* shotguns *cough* *cough* Overall though I think the over all strategic aspects it has make it amazing, but you MUST HAVE A MIC. I hate playing with people who don't have one, other than that, the beta has been amazing

Guess my favourite number between 1-100 for a ps4 code.
Shield people op AF
-
Bit disappointed there's no singleplayer, but the small scale destructible environments and gunplay look fun. That riot shield looks OP as -blam!- though.

Im loving it. There are some things I liked about vegas 2 better but overall very good shooter.

Anyone have a pc code?
-
Here's a gameplay/commentary I did on the Beta. If you do watch go easy on me lol. Haven't done many commentaries. I've never played any Rainbow Six games prior. Always wanted a tactical shooter thats more realistic than CoD. Have always enjoyed the realism to battlefield but too big to be a fun competitive game. Siege is the perfect shooter for myself. Really excited about it.

I'm getting the feeling it will end up like evolve. Great for hardcore players but not the casual.

Edited by Reign of Bane: 10/1/2015 12:03:45 AMNot a fan it's got some good elements but just feels like CS but not as good. ={ No it doesn't feel like Rainbow 6, not a bad thing in itself on some ways.
-
Does anyone have a spare Xbox one code?
-
To give an example of how much tactics matter, I won a 2v5 yesterday. 4 rounds, and they only took one.
-
Finallyn played it. It's ok I guess. Doesn't feel like any other R6 game. Feels like Battlefield in confined spaces with a lot more gadgets. That's not necessarily a bad thing though. I'd give the beta 7.5/10

Became stale very fast

I just got my beta code today. Any tips?

Well the gameplay is amazing when it isn't really buggy and glitchy. The matchmaking sucks ass but they released a patch for it this morning, I'll tell you if it has gotten better. The guns and classes add a lot of diversity that you don't see much anymore. And most importantly tactics. The tactility in this game is insane! If you don't prepare well enough you are dead no matter how great of a shooter you are, you have to know the map and prepare, once preparation is over you need to figure out what classes the other team is. Once you know what they are, you are able to know what they have against you. I think I could probably make a whole video on my opinions and facts... not a bad idea
-
I've done a game of it and I like it already. I like the tactics of it and it's just different from a typical shooter, which I like a lot.
-
Also, for people commenting on graphics, it actually looks pretty damn good on my PC, so that may just be console graphics.
-
Is the Beta open access? If it is I'll try it out. I like how it's focused a lot on communication
-
I haven't played a first person shooter this good in so damn long. Definitly buy it.
plus its this great and its just the beta. Imagine the finished game product.
