CORTANA SHOULD HAVE STAYED DEAD. I WANTED HER ALIVE SO BAD BUT THEN THIS HAPPENED AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS REAL ANYMORE. HER DYING WAS A WAY BETTER PLOT POINT THAN THIS GARBAGE
However I still enjoyed the play through I must say.
The story seemed to lack that one epic, memorable moment that the others have (barring 4). Whether it's the flood, assault on the control room, Delta Halo, The Ark, or the glassing of New Alexandria, the old Halos had those epic, unforgettable moments. This storyline just seems lackluster. Even though all of humanity is in danger, it just feels like it's more personal, which takes away from the real stakes and diminishes the story.

Also, Superintendant > Cortana, as always.

Cortana is in control of a Halo Ring. SHEEEEEEEEIT. She has access to every piece of Forerunner knowledge, including the locations of all other Halo Rings. Cortana's plan is to activate Halo to wipe the slate clean of organics and restart civilization like the Forerunners did, except this time she's going to bend them to her will. CORTANA!!! Y U DO DIS? Y U PERSONALITY CHANGE SO SUDDENLY???
Edited by Infiltrat0rN7: 10/27/2015 10:27:50 PM
Never knew the day I'll say this, but I liked Halo 2's cliffhanger better. SIR FINISHING THIS FIGHT" is better then bitching about them taking long enough However it felt good seeing Palmer beat to shit in the ending

Also the John vs Locke fight was laughably bad, it looked like a fight between two old retired wrestler. Not a IV In his prime and a Spartan raised for war. Seriously those were some bad thrown punches
