1 run I got strange coins 2nd run i got a sniper that turned to 2 energy and 3rd I got 9 energy that I really don't need since I have almost 200 energies. They need to add radiant mats instead.

agreed. the grimoire states that radiant materials can be found in the nightfall & elsewhere. extremely rarely...

I have never seen radiant mats from anywhere but the crota raid.

neither have i. however, i have heard from several sources that they can drop from public events

meh its whatever. i just now read it on some forums and I'm like 90% sure i read it in-game somewhere regardless i personally never expect to find one anywhere but the raid and i am sure not going to farm public events looking for radiant materials lol im not even sure if i believe they can drop outside of the raid but i would not be at all surprised if they drop for people in the nightfall occasionally
