I'm mentioning the Saiyans. They were initially pretty strong, and then it's shown they're capable of literally becoming Gods.
Oh, this new bad guy is 50 times stronger than me? A new transformation will fix that! Also, their training improves them at a preposterous rate.
Probably not the most overpowered fictional race, but still up there.

gonna have to disagree my friend purely because even the covenant cant blow up planets with their finger tips, no ammount of prep time can give them that ability

toshay... precursors i think wouldnt be a problem as the forrunners exterminated them but the flood you do have a point, i guess saiyans could out run them and easily destroy any flood ships attempting to land on vegeta but if one saiyan falls to the flood then they will have saiyan power, so i guess thats what it depends on?

That's if they survive a fight. A lot of races would simply obliterate them, they wouldn't be capable of surviving.

I'd believe they were more powerful if they weren't exterminated by friezie pop's men.

Frieze-pop's men didn't touch them. He just blew up the planet himself, from what I can remember. Besides, that doesn't take away from the Surviving guys' ridiculous power, especially the fusion characters.
