Traveler and the darkness aren't really good and evil. The traveler is able to absorb and reuse an infinite amount of energy , making him like god, able to create life and terraform stars. The darkness is a sentience that seeks to silence the traveler. It wants to be the only creator but uses energy in a very similar way to the traveler. Their exists darkness that the light can't break, and light that the darkness flees from. We fight battles for these celestial beings yet morality is thrown aside for survival. We welcomed "god" , without understanding that the "devil" was coming for it
