I would take Mecha-Godzilla as my vehicle and for the army it would be a toss-up between the Fremen from Dune (they don't *start* with vehicles but soon enough they're all riding giant sand worms), a legion of Jedi Knights (force throw bitches!), or 100 soldiers in Shrike suits from the Hyperion books.
But honestly if I could just pilot Mecha-Godzilla I would probably be able to just solo it.
