I don't drive. But I jaywalk. So I do break some laws, yes. The system of law is a highly complex set of social constructions and standards designed to keep the peace and order within whatever country you happen to reside. The fact of the matter is that most people cannot hope to abide by all of them, as the system is designed by people of all strides, and, as such, is highly restrictive. And so, sometimes, a law is broken for convenience or simple ignorance of the reason for the law. Or, at others, it is broken out of disdain for the system itself. When it comes to me, it is the former. I feel no guilt about it. I harm nobody else, and I don't break major laws. P.S:Don't compare a felony with serious penalties to a misdemeanor carrying a fine, though. That's just silly.
