Weed has no withdrawal effects and therefore not addictive. The act of smoking is psychologically influential, making it habitual, so it can aid feelings of stress and anxiety (like rocking your foot till you fall asleep, sucking your thumb, putting your hands in your pockets, etc), but it's not actually addictive.
