It was essential because people will take the assumption a compound in cannabis could kill. Carbon monoxide can be traced to all burnable substances, yes, but cigarettes are directly associated. Tobacco is grown in radioactive fertz and has a direct correlation to cancers. Cannabis doesn't, and has compounds that prevent tumour growths.
At this point were talking about [b]keeping[/b] something illegal because it [b]could one day kill one person.[/b] That isn't enough to justify your neighbours, or me, going to jail.

I don't know how you got me discussing keeping it illegal, my original post displays quite the opposite. I'm very "for" it.

Sorry about that. Got a few debates going on atm and all the OPs are becoming a blur in the heat of it. For weed, I believe the user kills himself, as does a fatty slamming coke after coke because it "feels good". When people say they're for "keeping it illegal" for these petty reasons, they don't understand what the means of doing just that even are. Every comment I hear about keeping it illegal reminds me of little tweeting Harry Anslingers.
