I still remember a Aussie I became friends with that hosted a website for a old "PBM" game called VGA Planets years ago. Even though he and people I met through him displayed reliably "liberal" political sentiments...they had some racial attitudes that were backwards even by American standards. He, for example, was appalled and quite upset when his dad began dating a young lady from Tonga and decided to marry her. I mean...I'm a reactionary by the standards of today yet I'm the one telling someone well to my left politically that it's OK to "taste the rainbow". lol Whenever I see an Aussie get up on his high horse I remember that fellow and chuckle.

Yeah there's some history there with race and it is incongruous with how they are perceived. Liberal does not equal non-racist.

True dat....deep blue cities like Chicago, Philly, Detroit, Baltimore, ect have some of the most toxic race relations in the whole country.
