Bush certainly did screw up...but the Democrat rhetoric about him is mainly to deflect attention from the fact that they were intimately involved in all of his biggest screw ups, such as Iraq and the Recession. If it's fair for the Democrats to blame Bush for 9/11 happening eight months into his Presidency...when he didn't even have his own team fully installed...then it is fair to blame Obama for what is happening when he has been POTUS for [b]seven years[/b]. And when it comes to Libya and Syria...he owns them completely.

Also the way the Whitehouse took over the media and painted all Muslims as extreme terrorists was directly related to the bush administration controlling the media. That's where he failed. Not the incident, because that was an unfortunate tragedy and rip all those who died. The media train going off the rails after, was their fault.

I think you're confusing Bush with FDR and Wilson.....the Bush Administration did not "take over the media".

They did though. They controlled the flow of information within the media. By only releasing information they wanted the public to hear. Thereby controlling the information about the incident. It's happened all throughout time. Obama released a lot of that old info during his presidency. It was a pretty big deal.
