I really enjoy all the Halo games, ODST was a little lackluster, but I didn't mind Reach or 4. However, this Locke vs Master Chief thing looks stupid as hell. It looks like they're trying to split the campaign between 2 characters like in Halo 2, but I don't think it will work again. I mean, Chief has been the hero the whole time and now you expect the fan base to buy into an alternate view of that? It's been too many games to pull that off IMO.

I have played the first Halo, Reach, and 4 and I have the MCC so I can play the other games, but I have no clue who Locke is? What's his role in Halo?

He hasn't been in any until now, 5 is his first appearance.

I like the concept as long as they don't make two separate campaigns. I'm also assuming there is underlying plot that we're missing right now. But if I'm wrong... 343 done goofed

Yeah, if there's some really good plot I guess it could be good. I would have rather not even known about Spartan Locke until the game came out. Would have been a nice surprise or something.
