Not in my opinion. I don't like the direction halo took. I understand the community loves halo but it fell under in my respective opinion after ODST. Reach was ok, 4 was bad and 5 looks worse. Like really there trying to make you second guess the chief as if he might be the bad guy. That's stupid AF in my opinion.

There is obviously something else going on under the table. I think it's clear that Chief is being framed by higher ups because (based on Hunt the Truth) he might blab about his origin. You have to admit, chief never had any character development. A few lines here and there hardly made him a good character. Now he is being fleshed out. He is a human after all.

That's your opinion and I respect it. You're a true halo fan thru thick and thin. I on the other hand just gave up on it

Trust me. I went through a bout of not liking Halo after 343 took over. Then I started to notice how the original trilogy was always lacking in "main character development" and the Lore was never really in the games. Now it's all starting to merge together and I really love it. Change is healthy for anything, even games.
