343 did a good job with Halo 4's story in my opinion, and Halo 5: Guardians seemed fantastic to me; especially compared to Halo 4 matchmaking.

Halo 4 and 5 had way too many unrealistically shiny textures, and the art style makes the world look blockier and less realistic like the world design I've seen in Destiny and the Bungie Halo games.
