Stop watching people play and play the game yourself. I don't understand kids today. When I was a kid there was nothing worse than having to watch someone else play while waiting for my turn.

I know this is old and all but the same thing could be applied to TV Shows. :/ It's not that hard to understand.
-
Not really since you're not waiting your turn to take someone's spot on a tv show.
-
... That's a crappy answer.
-
Lol Brother i feel you
-
How about listening to it while you play instead of watching ( a podcast )

Edited by Striker93175: 6/8/2015 5:58:53 PMI'll watch for maybe a half hour if it's a game I'm thinking about buying... Better to watch for a few and possibly save myself from wasting money by potentially buying a game I won't like ya know?
-
That's different than watching someone playing a game you already own for hours on end.
-
My thoughts exactly, i cant wrap my head around this phenomenon
-
I know this is old and but... It's not a hard concept to grasp dude.

It's really not that different from watching sports in principle, if you think about it. If you enjoy doing something, you might also enjoy watching someone better than you do that thing at a higher level. Examples: I like to play baseball. I occasionally watch professional baseball. I like to cook. I sometimes watch cooking shows with my favorite chefs. I like painting and sculpture. I might enjoy watching a famous artists create art. The same idea can be applied to music, science, games, and any other hobbies that people have. It's just about personal differences and what you personally enjoy doing in your free time.

I know this is old but well said.

Edited by EDIT: 6/8/2015 7:24:44 PMUgh... You do understand that some people watch while at work, waiting at the airport, etc. etc.? Actually, I'm sure most gamers that watch other gamers would prefer to play rather than watch. So, the conclusion is that most likely people are watching streamers play videos games when they themselves are currently in s situation where they can't. Make sense right? edit: you know, to learn a new tactic, or something new about the game from someone that sits and plays the video game all day.

Umm, no.
-
No, it doesn't make sense that you feel you need to watch a game while unable to play it. That's very dependent behavior.
-
Where do you see the word "need" anywhere in my post?
-
If people can't think of this as a reason to why people watch streams then I've lost serious faith.

Exactly
