I disagree. The cool down is unnecessary. They could have just fixed the perk so that it worked as described, rather than changing the way the perk works. Quintessence transfer was working perfectly, even with scatter (the warlock equivalent of swarm grenade). I guess Bungie is unaware of the "If it ain't broke, don't fix it" mindset. They seem to be more of the "If it's working fine, break it for no reason" mindset. Smh... Even with nothing manacles, you generally only get 1-2 kills, 3 max. With 2 grenades and 3 kills each (6 "extra super energy"), that's still not even close to a full super.

  • Wait, broken in that each projectile from scatter returned energy? Or do you mean it is broken now after the patch in that it doesn't return super energy at all?

I honestly dont see your problem lol, the only reason this is a problem is if you want to cheese the swarm and scatter grenade as theres no other grenade you can throw within 10 seconds unless you have gear, in which case you shouldnt be getting extra benefits anyway, as such you're just salty that they took away your cheating tactic.

You're silly. What a waste of a comment. Cheese the scatter grenade? That made you sound like you have no idea what you are talking about. It wasn't even broken for scatter. Next you'll be saying a max discipline build is broken too. Go play a different game if you don't want variety in builds. No other grenade you can throw two in 10 seconds? Every Sunsinger grenade can be thrown 2 within 10 seconds with gift of the sun. Get educated before you speak.

First off "get educated before you speak", lol that statement though... Next up there must be a reason they did it for scatter grenades too, as such one can presume there is a possible cheese for that too. Then i shall add that i do not play sunslinger, or warlock anymore for that matter, however i do know you can throw two grenades, but can you get two kills as the cooldown only kicks off on kill, not hit. Its all about balance, in balance should you be getting half your super every 10 seconds? No you shouldnt, so its a good thing they stopped that too. At the end of the day the cooldown is fair, deal with it.

  • What does the cool down have to do with being able to get kills. Do you even know what we are talking about? Of course you can get two kills. The new cool down doesn't stop you from getting kills for 10 seconds. It just stops the extra super energy from grenade kills. The only reason anyone (and by that I mean ONLY hunters and ONLY with swarm grenade) was getting half their super in 10 seconds is that the combo of ashes to assets and swarm grenade returned energy for each hit by a projectile rather than on kill. If Bungie had just made it so that it was only on kill, as it was with literally EVERY OTHER GRENADE, it would have been balanced.

How was that to be properly read? Edit: I legitimately still have no idea what you meant, even after you smart-ass response.
