It's not about the forum topics - they're trying to say it was because people were being excluded from Raid groups.
You know what would fix that? Let Xur sell it. You know what else would fix it? Matchmaking.
They nerfed it because it was overpowered and they're using the Elitism as a scapegoat. Period.
PS: Rumor has it that the reason Xur has no weapon today was because it was supposed to be the Ballerhorn for sale and Bungie broke it.

Yeah i've just seen the images of gjallahorn in xur's inventory before it "glitched" out. Bungie have some answering to do. It's nearly 6 hours after xur dropped and bungie have done nothing to fix the missing gun. How much you betting they are in a meeting and can't decide what weapon to sell instead of gjallahorn or just to go ahead and sell it anyway
