Nope. I've never cheesed VoG. I've never done the bridge legit though. No one wants to even try.

Yeah. I'm hoping there are more puzzles not just lots of enemies.

The problem with puzzles (like the bridge in crota) is that complex mechanics leave potential for cheesing. Either way we are getting a new raid - biggest one yet according to deej in every single interview - so that's something to look forward to!!
